June 2015 - Pioneer POS has started shipping its new series, the CYPRUS All-in-one. The CYPRUS represents the company's new design focus on style without sacrificing its well-known quality standards. After several months of beta test and road shows, customers have given the CYPRUS an excellent review.

The CYPRUS offers a stylish and powerful solution for today’s demanding applications. It is powered by the Intel’s latest 4th Generation Core processors, code named Haswell, which delivers a better power efficiency and graphics than its predecessors (Sandy and Ivy). By implementing the latest from Intel, our products are able to offer a longer shelf life, a longer support life, therefore a better ROI than most of our competitors.

The CYPRUS supports Resistive or PCAP multitouch, and offers 4 processor options: Core Pentium 2.6GHz (not Celereon), i3-2.4GHz, i5-2.7GHz, or i7-3.3GHz. Choice of operating systems are Windows 7, POS 7, Windows 8.1, or Linux. Connectivity includes Intel Gigabit network, 4 Serial ports, 3 USB 2.0, 3 USB 3.0, and HDMI. Additional features include WiFi wireless network, magnetic stripe reader, biometric fingerprint reader, integrated display, integrated barcode scanner, and Trusted Platform Module (TPM) for encryption.
